【本日のスケジュール】 15:00 Presentation to Professor Miyata 16:00 Tea with Professor Miyata 18:30 Harry Potter: Visions of Magic 【その日の学びと気づき】 Today we began by summarizing what we had learned from our recent internships, including technical experiences at the aquaculture farm and research lab, as well as logistics at Qian Hu. Presenting our reflections to Professor Miyata helped me to connect the different pieces of learning into a broader understanding of aquaculture. Afterwards, we enjoyed tea together before going our separate ways. To celebrate finishing our internships at Prime Aquaculture and Qian Hu, we decided to go to Harry Potter: Visions of Magic, as everyone was also a fan of Harry Potter. On the way there, I accidentally boarded the wrong bus and my teammates had no choice but to board the same bus with me. It was embarrassing at first, but it taught me about adaptability and responsibility. I am thankful that my teammates turned what could have been just an embarrassing mistake into a positive and memorable experience. We reached the Harry Potter site with no further incidents. The exhibit itself was ten Harry Potter-themed rooms where we could use “wands” to activate projections and moving objects, from giant snakes to animated statues. Though the idea was simple, the interactivity made the experience fun and nostalgic, as we reminisced about our favourite Harry Potter moments. Visiting this attraction made me realise the value of providing interactive and personalized experiences to people. With the right design, 55 があるということも伺いました。宮田さんによると、水産業に携わる海外の方の中には、日本の大学を卒業している方も多く、こうしたつながりから自然と話が広がることがあるとのことでした。他の業種ではなかなか考えにくいような会話で、非常に興味深く感じました。 養魚場では、宮田さんやスタッフの方々と一緒に魚へのワクチン接種を行いました。麻酔やワクチンについても詳しく説明していただき、理解が深まりました。 また、移動中の車内では、宮田さんから二つの大切なポイントを教えていただきました。 1 つ目のポイントは現場に出ることの大切さです。話だけではわかりにくいことも、実際に現場に出ることで体感的に理解できるということです。今回の作業では、私たちが慣れるために最初の数回、麻酔を強めにかけていただいていた影響で、通常よりも多くの魚が死んでしまいました。これを知らずにデータだけで判断していたら、その後のデータ分析や管理にズレが生じていたかもしれません。現場の感覚を知ることの大切さを実感しました。 ２つ目のポイントは周囲を見て行動することです。ワクチン接種中に、魚の数が少なくなってきたら自分から魚を寄せに行くなど、状況を見て先回りして動くことの重要性も学びました。こうした小さな気配りが、チームとしての働きやすさやスムーズな業務進行につながるのだと感じました。 無事に本日予定していた分のワクチン接種を終えることができました。最初は吠えられて追いかけられていた犬たちも、魚をあげることで懐いてくれ、最後には楽しく交流することができました。 また、私たちが雨具を持っていないことを気にかけてくださったスタッフの方がレインコートを貸してくださり、雨の中でも無事に作業を終え、帰ることができました。本日は、人の優しさにも触れながら、非常に充実した一日を過ごすことができました。 明日の研修、そしてプレゼンテーションに向けて、しっかり備えていきたいと思います。 ＜海洋資源エネルギー学科２年 遠藤稜大＞ ＜９月 11 日＞プライム / 最終日
